Leo is the 5th sign of the zodiac and they are known for “being extra”. You know why? They are the sign that embodies the energy of having high self-esteem and being sure of themselves. You can never try to kill the vibe of the Leo because they love themselves so much to the point that your opinion doesn’t even matter. The world is their stage and they’re here to perform every moment.

Leo is a fire element and they rule the Sun. The Sun is always in the center of attention. See the connection there? Even though they may seem like the epitome of self-centeredness they have some of the biggest hearts and will go the extra mile to fiercely protect those that they love. Whenever I hear someone mention a Leo, I always think of big hair, furs, flashy golds and an over the top personality. I absolutely enjoy it and find it hilarious at times. We call can’t play it safe, so we let the Leos take over.

One of my favorite traits about Leos are that they are some of the most talented people in this world. Leos are usually good at 5000 things and they do them all at one time. They’re also super intelligent people, especially when it comes to math and money. This sign loves money and can be on both end of the extremes when it comes to spending it. You have those that like to spend happily on themselves and then you have those cheap ass Leos that try to get a deal on everything.

Leos rule the first house. The first house represents the physical body, personality and self-discovery. If you need some lessons on accepting who you are then I would hang out with some Leos. They are the best sign to teach self-love and dramatics that go along with it. Everyone has Leo energy in their natal charts.
